The second annual Crieve Hall Butterball Crawl delivered in full force! Many F3 HIM’s of the Shire came together to serve our neighborhood and put on the best 5K this side of Ellington Ag Center.

CONDITIONS: Colder after sunrise than before, somehow.

WARMUP: 15 minutes of standing in the cold waiting for EZ-Go to start the race

THE THANG: A 5K and 1 mile loop exhibiting some of the best rolling hills and gradual grades Nashville has to offer.

MOLESKINE: 300 pancakes were flipped, friendships were forged, community was built, and coffee was drained. Great time had by all.

WARMUP: none! Terrible parking for all meant a prompt start

THE THANG: SalPal and myself buddied up with a 30 lb ruck and went to the base of the Capitol’s grass hill.

Partner 1 Bernied up hill with ruck
Partner 2 did 10 burpees then sprinted to get ruck.
Each man did 100 burpees total

11s of WW1 and heel lifts. The catch was every set was 1 landing higher on the stairs
At the end of our 11s, Strutter finally found parking and joined us!

Mosey to Tennessee map where we did the road trip workout
I-40: 40 merkins in Memphis, 40 squats in Nashville, 40 crunches in Knoxville
I-24: 24 merkins in Chattanooga, 24 squats in Nashville, 24 crunches in Clarksville
I-65: 65 crunches in Lawrenceburg, 20-20-25 merkins,squats,crunches in Nashville and ended with 65 second low plank

MOLESKINE: nice walk over to Von Elrod’s together really filled up our proverbial cups. Strutter and I then got to fill up our literal cups

WARMUP: SSH, BAC, BBAC, Shoulder Presses, WMH, Runners Stretch.

THE THANG: Thang 1:
Basketball Court: Suicides with merkins at each line increasing by 1 each line. Run to Monkey Bars 5 Pull Ups, Bear Crawl to tree (50ft), lunge back (50ft) to low bar and do 20 dips, run up hill (200ft), 5 burpee pull ups, 10 swing rows, 30 big boy sit ups, run to other playground (50ft), 10 Lt Dans, run down hill back to basketball courts (125ft) and start over.

Thang 2: Ring of burpee fire. Done to Johnny Cash’s Ring of Fire. PAX held plank then went around and did 1 burpee +1 each round. Got 2 rounds complete just in time.

MOLESKINE: Talked about F3 a little so FNG’s could get a good idea of what all it has to offer.

THE THANG: We found the 4 corners of the TN map. Corner 1 10 merkins IC Corner 2 10 SDS IC Corner 3 merkin complex each round was unique. (Wide grip, diamond, handshake, hand release, Makhtar N’Diaye) Corner 4 10 squats IC Each trip around the map was a different mode of transportation.
