Kickball & Burpee Planes

Date: 2026-07-28 AO: Middle Tooth Q: Toothless , PAX: Betty Ford, Old Maid, Pep, Cowboy, Toothless, Pole Dancer FNGs: None COUNT: 6 CONDITIONS: ROASTY, a low of 77º overnight is not cool (literally)
WARMUP: Lil circle of fun, SSH, high knees, big arm circles and the like. Did Scorpions to end though which were so nice on the freshly blacked asphalt that was still radiating heat.
THE THANG: Kickball. 2 teams. 1 winner by the points, but all winners by the workout. – 10 merkins + runs scored for incoming fielders and 10 merkins for incoming kickers – Foul balls are an out, get tagged with the ball or regular force outs for other outs – Bonus burpees: Any plane sighted earns an immediate 5 burpees! Got maybe 5 planes throughout, not too bad
MARY: SSH in silent cadence to try and end on time and avoid the burpee penalty. YHC went too advanced and tried double count merkins vs single and the PAX were not able to stay in sync so we celebrated that poor decision with more burpees
MOLESKINE: Was fun and games but still enough to be winded and work up a sweat with only 3 per side
ANNOUNCEMENTS: you know ’em, see ’em every week!
COT: – Prayers for Chunks travel, Pep, and Toothless

“The Second Day of July 1776, will be the most memorable Epocha, in the History of America”

Date: 2026-07-02 AO: Atlantis Q: Puzzlah , PAX: Puzzlah, Focker, Pole Dancer, DintyMoore, ShockJock FNGs: 1 ShockJock COUNT: 5 CONDITIONS: Warm
WARMUP: Stretchin
THE THANG: 1764-1789 Trivia
Station 1: Q: We all know “Taxation without representation”, name at least 3 taxes that were levied on the colonies between 1764-1775. A: Sugar Act, Stamp Act, Townshend Act, Tea Act
W Partner: 342 Step ups/Dips total while partner runs around the silo to represent the 342 boxes of tea dumped into the Boston Harbor during the Boston Tea Party.
Q2: G-Dub was disgusted by MassHoles, but after Henry Knox took cannons from Ft Ticonderoga and brought them to Boston and they were secretly brought to Dorchester Heights (6 blocks from where I grew up), the Colonial Army forced the British to evacuate Boston in spring 1776. On what day, appropriate for Boston, does the city celebrate Evacuation Day with City Offices closed?
A: March 17 Partner up, carry your partner up the hill.
Q3: The Declaration of Independence was voted for on July 2 by the Second Continental Congress, leading John Adams to write to Abigail, “. “The Second Day of July 1776, will be the most memorable Epocha, in the History of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated, by succeeding Generations, as the great anniversary Festival.”
While only John Hancock had signed the Declaration of Independence on July 4, who was the oldest signer and how old was he?
A: Benjamin Franklin, 70 years old
Right answer: 13 “Bolts” (for his lightning bolt experience)–>13 half quats (top), 13 half squats (bottom), 13 full squats, 13 full squat tuck jumps (like Usain Bolts) Wrong answer: 70 Monkey Humpers because Benny Boy loved the ladies
Station 4:
Q: In a desperate “Victory or Death” gamble, Washington marched his freezing, ragtag army to the banks of the Delaware River on Christmas night. In the middle of a brutal nor’easter blizzard—with ice floes smashing against their wooden Durham boats—they crossed the river in pitch darkness and marched 9 miles through the snow to catch the elite Hessian garrison completely by surprise, leaving a trail of blood. While we are familiar with Washington crossing the Delaware, during which battle did this occur?
A: Battle of Trenton
Wrong answer: get barefoot, ice skaters from the foul pole to the outfield fence. Mosey back. Sprints (increasing in percentage from (19%, 50%, 64%, 76%, 89%, 100%, 180% representing years associated with key revolutionary activities).
MARY: – American Hammers: 76 reps IC (Finish out the year) – Big Boy Sit-Ups: 56 reps OYO (Shared with a partner—28 reps each to honor the 56 signers) – The 1789 Constitutional Plank: Hold a low forearm plank for exactly 89 seconds.

Atlantis

Date: 2026-06-18 AO: Atlantis Q: Juicy J , PAX: Cheesehead, SalPal, Pole Dancer, Subway, Juicy J, Puzzlah, sooner FNGs: None COUNT: 7 CONDITIONS: humid as ballz
WARMUP: soccer warmups
THE THANG: 4v4 EPIC soccer match FIFA style. Two goalie blunders by Juicy J and ripped hamstring. Several sniper goals
Team Juicy wins 5-3. Thanks to a semi FNG all star appearance. Puzzlah Pole Dancer and Shredder? Wins new F3 stickers.
MARY:
MOLESKINE: intentional ministry and helping others. It’s good to have a variety of mission opportunities in your life. It’s easy to stay in your circles and help your affluent friends and neighbors who are already close to you and honestly, it probably isn’t making a massive delta or a change in their life.
A challenge to each of us to get out of your circles and help those that are truly hurting where you can actually make a massive positive difference. Lots of Nonprofits out there to find these opportunities if needed.
The needs are there, 100%. Just need to look. 5,000+ kids starve to death every day around the world. Donate to these ministries is an example. Less than $1 can feed a kid for a day. Look it up on Claude.
ANNOUNCEMENTS: summer LeanPax July 5th on the leanpax channel
COT: prayers up for Squatter and DintyMoore family at school. Prayers up for a family at SalPal church. And all other unspoken.

Downtown Rodeo 🤠 🐎

Date: 2026-06-03 AO: Titan Q: Toothless , PAX: Papa Bear, Pole Dancer, Makita (Anderson Fader), Tim the Toolman, Spinal Tap, Vector, Pep, Hipster, Toothless, CubCadet, Shelby, Steampunk, FNGs: None COUNT: 13 CONDITIONS: Pleasantly cool, a welcome break from the oncoming onslaught of humidity and heat
WARMUP: Active warmups e.g. skips, shuffles, karaoke, etc.
THE THANG: Downtown Rodeo :face_with_cowboy_hat: :racehorse: Head to the field where the first event is set up
Event 1: Barrel Race Relay PAX split into two groups. Groups perform exercises AMRAP until all PAX have completed the barrel pattern. Incorrect pattern results in a restart for that runner. First group to finish wins, winners do 5 burpees and losers do 15.
Round 1 – Prisoner Squats Round 2 – Merkins Round 3 – WWI’s
Event 2: Stampede Bear crawl sharks and minnows, as in bear crawl across the field and try not to get tagged by the bear crawlers who are it. Number of taggers (ideally) increases each round along with the difficulty. Last man to be tagged wins. 2 rounds.
Event 3: Climbing Pikes Peak The Manitou Incline is a set of 2768 railroad tie steps gaining 2000ft of elevation in a mile. Let’s climb it. 2768 divided by the number of PAX. Roughly 200 double count mountain climbers each.
Event 4: Quarter Horse Dash The namesake of the Quarter Horse comes from it being the fastest breed at or below that distance. Conveniently, a lap around the Parthenon is exactly 1/4 of a mile. So, PAX run a lap with someone calling finish times. Continue to run laps and beat your times else be faced with AMRAP exercises. Some PAX made it 3 laps before heading back for time.
MARY: Dealers choice til time, starting with 10 bucking broncos aka donkey kicks
MOLESKINE: Barrels relay was mostly successful, but at least one of the PAX messed up the pattern on each of the rounds which ended up being the deciding factor in the race. Bear crawling sharks and minnows from the Stampede event was a hit with everyone, especially CubCadet and Vector. The 200 mountain climbers were surprisingly difficult once getting to the higher counts. YHC was toast for the Quarter Horse Dash, but Spinal Tap must have sandbagged because he was almost 10 seconds faster on the 2nd and 3rd laps!
ANNOUNCEMENTS: – 7/11 convergence! – Come to bomber for Strutter’s birthday kickoff – Keep checking Slack for more fun announcements!
COT: YHC encouraged the PAX to be grateful for their health & the ability to workout, as health is easy to take for granted until you don’t have it. Prayer requests were shared, ball of man was convened.

Date: 2026-04-09 AO: Atlantis Q: Puzzlah , Pole Dancer PAX: Pole Dancer, DintyMoore, SalPal, Toothless, Puzzlah, Squid (Boise, ID) FNGs: None COUNT: 7 CONDITIONS: Pristine
WARMUP: Dynamic
THE THANG: Our AOQ Pole Dancer set the stage with a taxing Dora of 50 Burpees, 100 Big Bois, 150 Merkins, 200 squats and 250 step-ups. Partners ran about 300 yards from the Pizza Hut around the parking lot. Woof. What a send off!
We then travelled down to the lower lot because what is Atlantis without some games.
The two former AOQs and the new AOQ teamed up to compete in a 3 v 3 tic tac toe game. 3 burpee buy-in Sprint 40 yards to the tic tac toe board Sprint back Next man up.
Non-running pax continued on a Thor ladder of 1 BBSU – 4 American Hammers (2-8, 3-12, etc.).
While the AOQs took the first game, they were easily defeated by stealth gamesmanship from Toothless, DintyMoore, and Squid.
MOLESKINE: :clap::clap: to Pole Dancer for his leadership at Atlantis.
